All responses are intended to respond to frequently asked questions we have received in our Montana practice over the last 17 years.

If your question has been answered previously you will be directed to a previous answer.  While we will attempt to respond to as many requests as possible as this is a free service we will be only able to answer a limited number of questions.
If you need legal help for a current legal problem you agree to personally consult with a Montana attorney, you may also contact our office using the contact information above.  This web site does not replace the personal advice and attention of an attorney.  Since many facts may change the responses you are urged to call an attorney if you have an actual legal question you need assistance with now.
Important time limits may apply which may bar or prevent you from bringing your claim.  You agree that our responses do not include any advice on time limitations or actual legal advice to be acted upon without personally consulting with an attorney.  You agree that the purpose of this website is to provide basic information and to help lead Montanan's in legal need to resources and basic information.

You may of course contact our office for a private confidential no obligation case evaluation..  We agree that we will make every attempt to respond to questions with the use of a "nickname" you chose on the question form.  Moreover you agree that we may send email to you along with legal newsletters and marketing information.
In the event we determine that your legal matter is serious, and requires prompt attention, that we may contact you personally to see if we can assist you.
You also agree that if any answer to your question is sensitive in nature as determined in the sole discretion of Bliven & Evans, Trial Lawyers P.C. that we may utilize the email you to respond and that you agree that you have no expectation of privacy from others who may view your email.

There are areas of the law that our office does not handle, for example prison matters or ice slip and fall.  We reserve the right to chose which questions and practice areas we will respond to. 
Bliven & Evans, Trial Lawyers P.C. reserves the right to refuse to answer any question due to time constraints or appropriateness.  Offensive, abusive, profanatory and disparaging remarks towards others and political questions will not be tolerated.
Moreover your question must be a real, not hypothetical question about Montana Law.  We do not, and cannot, answer questions about the laws of other States.  This site is meant to address, and will only address, Montana Law.
